Club Fundraiser - Beef and Beer @ Lions Lake Park Voorhees NJ - February 25th 7-11pm

The Medford Strikers Soccer Club will be holding its first annual Beef and Beer fundraiser on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 7 – 11 pm at the Lions Lake Complex located at 101 Dutchtown Road in Voorhees, NJ, located just off of Route 73 near, the new Virtua Hospital entrance. There will be wine & beer, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, 50/50, DJ’d music and raffles to win donated items (Vera Bradley bags, Red Bull Tickets, Lia Sophia Necklace, a Pair of UGGs, Gift Certificates to Lucy the Elephant, Absecon Lighthouse, Autographed Philadelphia Independence Mini Soccer ball...)

Tickets to the Beef and Beer are only $25.00 per person. (Limited availablity 130) // Raffle tickets for the WNT Autographed jersey are $20 apiece, limited to 500 and demand is already high !!

Medford Strikers General Club Meeting April 5th

The Medford Strikers will be holding a monthly all-Club meeting Thursday, April 5th at 7pm in the BCSSS next door to the Strikers fields. All parents are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting as updates will be provided by our Technical Director, James Galanis, as well as reports from Executive Board members and committee chairs. While many people have already stepped up there is still time to share your time or talent with the Strikers as a full slate of activities is planned for the coming year.

Michael Fornaro Selected for Region 1 Team

Congratulations to Michael Fornaro on his selection to the Region 1 Olympic Development Team.

Michael is a member of the Medford Strikers United U16 Boys and has been a dedicated member of Universal Soccer Academy for several years. Following selection for the NJ ODP 1996 Team, Michael participated in the Region 1 ODP Tournament and Region 1 Identification Camp and was selected for the Region 1 Pool. Competition for selection to the Region 1 Team was conducted at the week long Region 1 Camp in July 2011.

Mike will train with the Region 1 team at Penn State University in early January 2012, followed by the Interregional Competition at IMG Academy at Bradenton, Florida in late January 2012 involving teams from the four Regions of the US Soccer ODP Program.

CONGRATULATIONS MEDFORD STRIKERS VICTORY U12G Tournament Champions!

The Medford Strikers Victory U12 Girls competed in Pittsgrove Labor DayTournament September 3, 2011 winning their age division with three solid shut-outs ! Way to go Team Victory !!
